KENYA MICROCOPUTERS has the distinction of being the first company in Kenya to assemble and market a PC by its own brand name – HARVARD. We have been appointed as Distributors for DELL and Acer PC’s, Notebooks and Servers in Kenya. KML is also authorized dealer for SUN Microsystems, which have among other products, TheEnterprise and Serengeti Server.
 
Running on 64 Bit Unix (Sun Solaris) platform ,SUN Servers today are the “dot” in the dotcom. With the above, we are not only providing the high quality of service that has become synonymous with KENYA MICRO, but also provide a leading edge in terms of technology to users.
KML’s technical arm, which comprises of qualified team of engineers, ensures Support & Maintenance of these products through our in-house workshop & service center
 

Today we have more than 7000 PC installations and more than 200 server installations in Kenya. One of our most recent DELL installations has just been completed at Kenya Commercial Bank where we have installed 17 servers and 470 Workstations. In the year 2000, we commenced a major computerization project of National Cereals Produce Board, which included the supply and configuration of High end Servers , and workstations as well as installing Financial Application of their entire operations countrywide
